Phantom Blade Zero PS5 Trophies vs Steam Achievements
The console release tracks 36 trophies. The PC release tracks 66. Thirty of them exist only on Steam, and a handful of the shared ones are worded differently. This page is the difference, entry by entry.
The 36 PlayStation trophies are the base list — they exist on Steam too. The extra 30 Steam achievements cover things the console version does not track: weapon-specific ability triggers, a second You Loong kill, extra collectible milestones and a set of story-progress markers. Everything in the shared 36 keeps its trophy, but the wording is not identical on every entry, and the Platinum differs the most.
What actually differs
36 vs 66
A PS5 player has 36 boxes to tick. A Steam player has 66. The extra 30 are not cosmetic — they cover weapon abilities and extra milestones.
The Platinum has two names in circulation
The official Steam achievement list calls it “Defy Destiny”. Several trophy guides write “Defy Fate”. Same trophy, same requirement — the site publishes the official name and lists the alias.
Several Silver and Bronze trophies differ too
The Axe’s Grudge is “The Axe’s Rancor” on PS5. The Heart’s Journey is “The Way of the Heart”. Every entry lists the official Steam name plus the PS5 wording where the guides differ.
Hidden flags differ per platform
Steam marks 31 of the 66 as hidden — that number is confirmed from the official list. The console trophy list tracks its own hidden set, which is why published console guides quote a different number.
