Phantom Blade Zero Trophy Guide
All 66 achievements with the exact unlock condition for each one — 36 that also exist as PlayStation trophies, and 30 that only exist on PC. Ranked, categorised, and marked where a quest can be lost for good.
What 100% actually takes
The Platinum — officially “Defy Destiny”, and called “Defy Fate” by several trophy guides — needs all 65 other achievements. You can finish it in a single playthrough, on the easiest difficulty, with no DLC, no New Game+ and without touching the 66-day mode. What makes it hard is not the fights. It is that nine achievements can be permanently lost — eight side quests and the true ending — and several of them lock as soon as you push the story one area too far.
- →66 achievements total: 36 shared with PS5, 30 Steam exclusive.
- →One Platinum, three Gold, fourteen Silver, eighteen Bronze.
- →Nine achievements can be lost: eight side quests plus the true ending.
- →No DLC, no New Game+, and no 66-day mode is required for 100%.

Rare achievements
Steam publishes two extra fields per achievement: an unlock percentage and a rare flag. The hidden flag is already confirmed for all 66 entries here, and the percentages come straight from the official Steam global unlock feed (ISteamUserStats/GetGlobalAchievementPercentagesForApp) — no key required. The percentage tells you what share of Steam owners have earned that achievement, so it measures rarity rather than difficulty: a 0.0% entry means fewer than one in a thousand owners has it yet, which is normal for a game released on 28 October 2026 and will climb as more people finish it. Steam itself highlights anything under 10% as rare in its library, so that is the threshold used for the rare badge on this site.
One game, two trophy lists
Phantom Blade Zero ships with 36 PlayStation trophies and 66 Steam achievements. The PS5 set is the base list; the extra 30 on Steam cover things the console version does not track — weapon-specific ability triggers, a second You Loong kill, extra collectible counts and a set of story-progress markers. If you are on PC you have 30 more boxes to tick than a PS5 player does.

Why the same trophy has two names
The Platinum is “Defy Destiny” on PlayStation and “Defy Fate” on Steam. Several others are worded differently too. Every entry here lists the Steam name, the PlayStation name and the name the popular trophy guides use, because searching for the wrong one returns nothing.

How to Get the Phantom Blade Zero Platinum
The Platinum — officially “Defy Destiny”, and called “Defy Fate” by several trophy guides — unlocks when every other achievement is done: 65 in total. It is achievable in one playthrough on the easiest difficulty, with no DLC and no New Game+.
Phantom Blade Zero Hidden Trophies
Of the 66 achievements, 31 are flagged hidden by the official Steam list — meaning they do not show on your achievement page until you unlock them. That makes the hidden set the part of the trophy list most players never see, and the part a guide is most useful for.
Phantom Blade Zero Missable Trophies
Nine achievements can be permanently lost: eight are attached to side quests, and the ninth is the true ending. Those are the only trophies in the game that can be lost this way. A failed quest stays failed for the rest of the run — after the final boss you can go back for collectibles, but you cannot recover a missed quest. Your only option is an earlier save.
Phantom Blade Zero Collectibles — What to Pick Up for 100%
Eight achievements are pure collection and upgrade milestones: accessories, Memory Flowers, Sha-Chi Ambers, Black Stones, and weapon and Phantom Edge tempering and upgrades. None of them are missable, and all of them have generous margins.
Phantom Blade Zero Weapon Achievement Guide
Sixteen achievements are Steam exclusive. Fourteen are tied to a specific weapon and a specific action — inflicting bleeding, entering the Drunk state, deflecting an attack, triggering a named skill. The other two, Way of the Phantom and Way of the Blade, count chain assassinations and chain executions and are not tied to a named weapon. This is the least documented part of the trophy list.
Phantom Blade Zero Steam Exclusive Achievements
Thirty of the 66 achievements exist only on PC. If you play on PlayStation these are not in your list at all; if you play on Steam they are 30 extra boxes you cannot get on console. They split into three groups: story progress markers, extra boss and collectible milestones, and 14 weapon-specific ability triggers.
Phantom Blade Zero Platinum Roadmap — 100% in One Playthrough
You can earn all 66 achievements in a single playthrough on the easiest difficulty. No DLC, no New Game+ and no 66-day mode is required. The difficulty comes entirely from the order you do things in, because a missed side quest cannot be recovered without an earlier save.
